Hank Weaver is a singer-songwriter rooted in the storied music scene of San Marcos, Texas. Originally from Bells, Texas, Hank came to Central Texas chasing the songwriting tradition of his heroes — Steve Earle, Todd Snider, Guy Clark, and Townes Van Zandt — and found his footing inside the legendary Cheatham Street Warehouse community, where he sharpened his craft alongside a new generation of Texas songwriters.
In March 2026, Hank released his debut album, Me and My Blues, a nine-song collection that pairs classic country storytelling with a homegrown Red Dirt edge. Recorded with acclaimed producer David Beck, the record features standout tracks like "Spark," "Same to Me," and "Lonely Is My Only Friend Tonight," along with "Give Back the Key to My Heart," a collaboration with fellow San Marcos songwriter Ashton Naylor. The album builds on a steadily growing catalog that includes the 2023 EP The Road That Ends Up Wrong.
Now touring throughout Texas and beyond, Hank is carrying the San Marcos songwriting tradition to new rooms and new audiences — with the same ambition he arrived with: to bring a unique sound to Texas music and leave the kind of mark his heroes left before him.
